Andre Teissier-duCros will speak during Oshkosh about: “How Will Diesel Become Dominant for GA Airplanes upto 500HP.”
All of you note in your calendars: On July 27 during the EAA Air Venture Show, at the 005 REMOS Aircraft Pavilion, from 10:00 to 11:15am, Andre will talk about How Will Diesel Become Dominant for GA Airplanes – A non-confidential summary of a proprietary, 30-year worldwide forecast of the future of aero engines for piston engine airplanes which our firm has completed. It demonstrates that uncertainties of AvGas' future, foreseeable alternatives for AvGas, possible evolution of Jetfuel, environment and CO2 constraints all favor the aero diesel engine, at first up to 500 hp outside the US, later within the US, and much later for new applications of piston engine’d airplanes greater than 500 hp. Y’all come with plenty of questions! See more by clicking here. Dr. Andre R. Teissier-duCros is a consultant in Strategic Services, actor in 55 mergers, acquisitions and new ventures mostly across borders. Missions in aerospace industry involved EADS, Boeing, Lockheed, GE Co., SNECMA, Michelin Tires, Hurel-Dubois, Issoire Aviation, Epps Aviation, Maule Air, and others. He is a private pilot (IFR ASEL, 1,100 hours), and Publisher of The DieselAir Newsletter, specialized in development of diesel aero engines for General Aviation.

Mission Statement
Every month: news, facts, and comments on the coming revolution for piston-engines aircrafts between 130 and 400 HP: Retrofitting a diesel engine to run on Jetfuel or Kerosene, reduce Gallons/Hour by some 30%, eliminate ignition systems (magnetos, spark plugs) and their problems, eliminate mixture control, increase TBO to 2,400-3,000 hours, increase performance between 6,000 and 12,500 ft., and drastically reduce Operating Costs.
The letter is intended for piston engines aircraft owners, manufacturers, fleet operators and FBOs, re-manufacturers of engines for these aircrafts, manufacturers of engine components and ancillaries, and all professionals acting in decisions of engine exchange or refitting at TBO, in North and South America, Pacific Rim, African continent, and all parts of the world were Avgas, Mogas, Kerosene and Jetfuel are available.
